My goal for this project was to tell the story of how I ended up becoming a designer but it eventually ended up as something more of a brief of my life. The imagery that I selected for my project was a mix of edited photography and collage— I really enjoyed using images that I printed out in black and white and then photographed.

For a medium, I designed my project to be a booklet, an object that tells a narrative in a structured way to reflect my own tendencies. It also allowed me to look research editorial design, of which I drew inspiration from Bierut’s Yale posters, work by Wolfgang Weingart, and the MoMA redesign by Paula Scher.
